Electoral. rno THE RATEPAYERS AND ELECTORS OF "~ THE NORTH WARD. LADIES AND SENTLEMSN,— Having time at my disposal, I am desirous of representing you in the City Council. I am in favour of abolishing the Ward System, in order that the narrow spirit of parochialism in our local administration may be done away with, and that the growth of the movement for a Greater Auckland may he fostered and strengthened. I believe in municipalising the Light and Water, and expanding our Water Supply System until it is suf- ! ficient for the City for the next 50 years. The Drainage System should be steadily advanced until all our streets are completed. I think the present rates are sufficient for all purposes if tho outlay is carefully supervised. I do not intend to canvass the Ward for Votes. lam well known, having some property in the Ward, and, if elected, will do my utmost to serve you faithfully, and to promote the best interests of the City.
