A RECORD HARVEST.

[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Wellington*, Friday. The crops along Loth east and west coasts 'of this island have been successfully gathered in. Heavy crops have been harvested in the Manawatu, Raugitikei, and Wauganui districts, where three weeks of fine weather waited upon the harvest. The weather in the northern portions of these districts did not break until yesterday, and the rain which fell yesterday afternoon was welcome, because the crops were safely harvested and the rain did not come amiss. Farmers •in the Rangitikei district state that so heavy was the wheat crop throughout the district, that a reasonable average estimate would be 65 bushels per acre. This would indicate a record harvest.
