. A SHOWER OF SAND AND • PEBBLES. By Telegraph.—Press Association.Copyright New York, March 24. Further eruptions of La Soufriere have taken place, and a black cloud covers the entire island. Three inches of sand and pebbles fell at Georgetown and Ckateaubelair. At Georgetown windows were broken by the falling stones. The volcanic dust, extending to the Barbados, caused intense darkness for three hours.
