The barque Kinclune. which arrived from New York on Friday night, was admitted to pratique on Saturday morning, and will he berthed at the Queen-street Wharf to-day to discharge her cargo. The barque made a splendid passage of 92 days from port to port, and Captain Robertson is to be complimented uuon his vessel's fine performance, and for the neat order in which she comes into port. Of the voyage. Captain Robertson reports: The Kinclnne sailed from New York at midnight on October 23. and crossed the equator in longitude 39 degrees west on November 22. Doubled the Oape at Good Hope on December 19; passed the meridian of Cape Loeuwin on January- 9; sighted the West Cape of New Zealand on January 20: passed the North Cape on the 28th. and anchored in the channel on Friday night last. The easting was run clown in 50 degree? south, during which time strong north-west winds and almost continuous fop. rain, and hail, with very cold weather, prevailed. During the passage the Kinclune passed close to the following islands: Fernando Norowlia, on November 24; Trinidad, on December 2; Tristan d'Achuna, on December 11; Prince Edward Island, on December 24; the Crozefs, on December 28; and the Kerguelen Group, on December 31. The various islands passed were all snow-clod, and there were no signs of human beings anywhere on them; but sea fowl were very numerous. TUB LAIBA. The iron barque Laira, Captain John Gibbons, arrived from Melbourne yesterday, after a good passage across of 15 days. The barque brings a cargo of stone cubes, and will be berthed at the wharf to-day to discharge. THE NIWARU. The Tyser liner Niwarn is due from Napier this morning, to complete her loading for London, for which port she leaves Auckland on Wednesday next. THE WARSHIPS. 11.M.5. Archer has been floated into Calliope Dock for general overhaul. H.M.s. Penguin left for the Bay of Plenty yesterday morning to continue her survey work. The warship completes this portion of her work on her present cruise, and then goes on to survey Poverty Bay. FAST STEAMING OF THE SONOMA. The mail steamer Sonoma kept up her reputation for fast steaming during her present voyage, making the run across from Auckland to Sydney in the very fast time of 3 days 8 hours 49 minutes. TRANSHIPMENTS. The Westralia, which arrived from Sydney yesterday, brought transhipments per P. and O. steamer, from London; Sommerfeld, from Hamburg; Argna. from Java; Ohingtu, from Hongkong; and Kama no Mara, from Tokohama. The Zealandia brought up from the South yesterday transhipments per Whakatane, from London; County of ■ Inverness, from Glasgow; and Lady Elizabeth, from Liver- ! pool. THE WESTEALIA. The Huddart-Parker steamer Westralia, Captain J. B. Rainey, arrived from Sydney at 4 p.m. yesterday, and anchored in the stream for medical and Customs inspection, on completion of which the steamer was berthed at Quay-street Jetty No. 2, The Westralia has made very fast time this voyage, both on the trip from Auckland to Sydney and the return, and Captain Bainey and Chief Engineer Arkins and his staff are to be congratulated upon the steamer'B performance. The Westralia brought a large number of passengers in both classes, the majority of whom were for Auckland, and also about 500 tons of general cargo. Mr. F. Chambers, the parser, reports : The Westralia left Sydney at 4.40 p.m., and cleared Port Jackson Heads at 5.23 p.m. on Wednesday last; passed Cape Maria Van Diemen at 0.15 a.m. and Cape Brett at 7.30 a.m. yesterday, arriving as above. Moderate variable winds and seas prevailed to the New Zealand coast; thence fresh south-west winds and cloudy weather to arrival. The Westralia leaves for East Coast and Southern ports to-morrow afternoon. THE ZEALANDIA. The Hnddart-Parker steamer Zealandia, Captain W. J.
