THREE DAYS IN THE BUSH.

A MAORI WOMAN'S TRYING EXPERIENCE. [BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION'.] Wairoa (H. 8.), Friday. A Maori woman had a perilous experience at the end of last week. She was going from Lake Waikaremoana to Ruatahuna, in the Urewera Country, a distance of 20 miles, through a rugged bush district, when a heavy snowstorm set in. She had an infant with her. Slie made way into a sheltered place in. the bush, where she remained for nearly three days without lire or food. When she reached Ruatahuna she was almost dead with cold and exhaustion.
