POLICE COURT NEWS. Mr. T. Hutchison, S.M., presided at the Police Court on Saturday, and Sergeant Hendry appeared foi the police. He (Sergeant Hendry) saw the accused in the cell after arrest, when lie appeared to be perfectly sober arid' very despondent. Accused elected to be do-alt with summarily, and said he knew nothing about the occurrence. Sergeant Hendry suggested that the man be remanded till Wednesday next for medical treatment, and this was accordingly done.
