A general meeting of the Christian T'nion was held on Thursday, when the Rev. H. B. Gray, M.A., gave a moat interesting address on "Henry Drummond: His Life's Message." After describing Drummond's great personality, the address proceeded to state that Iho burden of Drummond's message to his fellow men was the necessity of having a clearly defined object in life. He himself had faced the question and concluded that for him the purpose of life lay, not in doing or even in being good, but in doing the will of God as revealed in the Bible, and through; nature.
