A SCHOONER CAPSIZED.

[BV TELEGItAI'H. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Blenheim, Thursday. Tin. Havelock correspondent of the Blenheim paper telegraphs that information has been received by pigeon message that the timber-trading schooner Ronga has capsized at Horseshoe Bay, Pelorus Sound. The Ronga left Lytteiton in ballast on Tuesday for Havelock, in charge of Captain Peterson, with a crew of seven all told. Assistance is asked for, but no' mention is made of any fatality.

The Ronga is a. wooden schooner of the following dimensions: —Length, 98.5 ft ; breadth, 23ft; depth, 7.lft: tannage. 92. She was built by Messrs. Lane ami Sons, of Whangaroa, in 1899, and is owned by Messrs. T. H. Ker and Brownlee and Co., of Lytteiton.'
