The Rev. W. Jellie, 8.A., delivered a lecture to a large audience in the Unitarian Church last night on "The Deity of Christ." The lecturer dealt critically with the arguments in favour of the Deity of Christ, and gave an exposition of the Unitarian conception of Christ «.i the flower and crown of ihumauity. The annual meeting of the North Shore Cricket Club will b» held in the Borough Council Chambers, Devonport, this evening. A splendid programme has been arranged by Mr. P. Quinlan for the concert and dance iii St. Benedict's Hall this evening. The. object is in aid of the Newton Football Club training hall, and several leading artistes will tale part in the concert, which is to be ! followed by, a farce.
