The Daily Telegraph states that owing; -to the opposition of Botha,De Wet and De la Rey, the proposed conference of Boer leaders has been abandoned, also the scheme for the foundation of an irreconciiables' party. Kruger and his followers, hope thus to conciliate Great Britain and strengthen their chance of returning to South Africa.
