NEW VESSEL FOR THE ISLANDS. A smart-looking ketch named the Florrie arrived yesterday (says tlie Sydney Daily Telegraph of June 19) from Brisbane Water, in tow of the steamer Woy Woy. She has been built by Mr. Arthur Davis, to the order of Captain Binskin, and is intended for the inter-island trade of the Solomon Group. She is a vessel of 20 ton?, with a length of 50ft. beam of 13ft, and depth of 6ft 6in. Her frame and bottom are of hardwood, and the tonsides and deck of kauri. Captain Grainger superintended the construction of the vessel, which will he fitted out here and despatched to the Islands in the course of a week or so. THE MATATUA. The following is the Auckland cargo by the Shaw, Savill. and Albion Company's steamer Matatua, which left Wellington for London on Thursday last: 302 bales wool. 2 bales skins, 718 bales flas. 11 bales leather. I£3 casks tallow, 14 bales hair, 1263 carcases mutton, 1031 carcases lamb, 2664 quarters beef, 6 cases poultry, 17 cases honey, 430 cases kauri gum, and 472 packages sundries.
