(Received .Tune 8, 4.55 p.m.) London, June 8. Owing to continued rain the Lancashire match was abandoned. The bowling analysis was :—Barnes, two wickets for 94; .Steele, one for 57 ; Hallows, one for 49 ; Webb, none for 42 ; Sharp, three for 91 ; Ward, none for 11, The South of England team for the match on the 16th, will be picked from Jessop, Wrathall, Traup, Bush, Crawford, Forster, Llewellyn, Storer, Bestwick, Arnold, Wilson, Thompson, and Chinnery.
