Mr. Wjllotjgiiiiy, of Wainuiomata, who is at present in South Africa, lias written to a friend in Wellington that between Durban and Klerksdorp there is some of the best dairying country be has ever seen. He predicts that in a very short time the products of South Africa will ba sufficient for all requirements, and that a^ f trade which may be established from ~Sbw Zealand will only be temporary.
