EIGHT DAYS IN PRISON. [IIY TELEGRAM.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Thursday. A man named George Shavo was arrested some eight days ago on a charge of deserting from H.M.s/Mildura. Shave's appearance is absolutely identical with that of the deserter, with one exception, that a marK said to be on the latter's right arm is on Shave s left arm. After spending eight days in confinement the unfortunate man was seen by an officer of the Mildura, who at once informed the police that they had got. the wrong man, and he was liberated.
