As it has been reported to our detriment that we declined to give up possession of the Shop next to Mr. Goodwin's and occupied by us as Fruiterers, until we were paid £25 by Mr. Goodwin, we beg to notify, and Mr. Goodwin bears us out in this, that immediately on the occurrence of the fire we arranged with Mr. Goodwin to let him have the Shop, and we gave him possession of it within twenty-four hours of the happening of the lire.
