The letter bears the post/ mark of the Bth inst. What doe:? this mean ? Are Messrs. Witheford and - Simson and the other 28 "leading . citizens'* still bent on running their show as against the Mayor and ,his; party? I thought when I read the report of the last City Council ■" meeting that the :"three tailors of Tooleystreet," who got up the first meeting, had! seen the error of. their ways and recanted, but .it appears to me they are determined, to be still in evidence. am, etc.. • / February 10, . 1902. ;: : ' : ';:' CITIZEK.
