The subjects for discussion will include the. following: Past, present, and future of : New Zealand railways; metric system of' weights and measures, bank holidays, all* red routes for mails, trade extension, bills of lading, federation of Chambers, week- _ ' & end railway tickets, reduction in London ' • warehouse charges on wool, uniform system of values on exports from New Zealand, pilferage of cargo from London, preferential trade or a Customs Union, recent labour legislation and its effects on the trade of the colony, fire insurance and State '• - ; "- fire insurance, the coal industry, and the African meat contracts. The proceedings ;?, are expected to last about three days. The . delegates will be entertained at dinner by the Wellington Chamber on the 6th pros.
