THE GOVERNOR'S TRIP. [BY. TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Invercargili,, Monday. The Tutanekai returned from her visit to the Southern islands to-day. Captain Tucker, lessee of Campbell Island, with Mr. Gordon and his son, of Gisborne, were passengers, bringing with them 44 bales of wool. .L'hey report that the sheep taken last year have done exceedingly well, the lambing has been fair, and Mr. Gordon considers the prospects very encouraging. His Excellency the Governor and party returned by the Tutanekai, after a long trip, during which the steamer met with many adverse winds. The steamer \ called at the Macquaries and brought back 250 barrels of oil and 30 casks of specimens, together with about 50 king penguins. ■
