By Telegraph,.—Press Association.— (Received December 20, 10.57 p.m.) London, December 20. The . Marylebone Committee have approved of the proposal to widen the bowling crease by lit each way. The committee decided that it was undesirable that wickets should be j prepared artificially. The captains' decision in 1900 in regard to illegal bowling had done so much good that it was unnecessary to suggest a drastic measure, but the committee expressed the hope that the counties would decline to play doubtful bowlers.
