STORAGE OF FLAX.

[BY telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Wednesday. The Agricultural Department is making inquiries as to the extent of accommodation available for the storage of flax at the principal ports of the colony. Information is desired to enable the Department to arrange for the compulsory grading of all hemp for export. Mr. Fulton, the present grader, will be stationed in Wellington, and wo or three additional experts will be appointed for the other chief ilax centres.
