At the quarterly meeting of lie Chamber of Commerce the following resolution was passed :—" That in the opinion of this chamber it is desirable that steps he taken immediately by the Government in the direction of arranging recijlrocal Customs tariff concessions with the Australian Commonwealth and Canada, and that a deputation wait 011 Sir Joseph Ward on Tuesday to further this end."
