Lady Holyrood, accompanied by a train of Mayfair damsels, fresh from the London season. There is a competition for Dolores' hand between her chosen swain, Frank Abercoed, one of the Florodorian clerks, and the designing proprietor, Gilfain. There is also love-making between Gilfain a daughter, Angela, and a dashing young captain, Donegal. Much laughter is caused by the disastrous attempt of the. phrenologist to pair everybody olf under rules _ of natural affinity, and there is just enough interest ana complication in the plot to make the audienoa eager to see the threads resumed ant. worked out in the second act at the Welsh castle of the Ahercoeds, where everything ends satisfactorily.
