Amoiig the veterans ox Palmerston North is/one who served with Sir Redvers . Buller when the general was but an ensign. The veteran referred to is Mr. R. Archer, of Campbell-street (King's Own), who drilled with Ensign Buller in the same depot at Winchester. This was in 1858, and Mr. Archer is naturally grieved to hear of the trouble that has recently overtaken the great soldier at the termination of a long and honourable career. Agricultural Show.
