HAVE TO HIDE THE BOTTLE.
"IF NOT THE CHILDREN WOULD TAKE IT ALL AT ONE DOSE, THEY LIKE IT SO WELL." There are many reasons why Scott's Emulsion is tho best of all household remedies. In the first place it is common in every household at one time or another for the health of some member of the family to decline. From any one of a hundred or a thousand causes tho system becomes undermined. Then at the first exposure there is a cough or cold, bronchitis, or some other ailment which needs prompt attention. Scott's Emulsion is the best known specifio for coughs, colds, and bronchitis, and all other forms of inflammation of throat or lungs, but as a specific is only a small part of its usefulness. To get down deeper into tho cause of these local affections and treat the system as a whole is the best use to which Scott's Emulsion can be applied. In writing about tho general use of Scott's Emulsion for colds, a gentleman from Preston, Lancashire, says: —
"S3, Euston-street, Preston, " Lancashire, England, "May 3, 1899. "Dear Sirs, —I cannot speak too highly of Scott's Emulsion; it has done my children more good for colds than anything they have ever taken. You may bo well assured that Scott's Emulsion will be well recommended by us to friends and others. We have to hide tho bottle; if not, the children would take it all at one dose, they like it so well.—Yours faithfully, " (Signed) George Jennings."
In Mr. Jennings' letter we find another reference to the fondness of children for the (asto of Scott's Emulsion. In fact, in the majority of letters which wo have received from those who describe the benefits derived by their children from Scott's Emulsion there is a special reference to the avidity with which children take this proparation. This fact along is most satisfactory, because as a rule children dislike taking medicine, but in reality it is of minor importance compared to the perfect form in which Scott's Emulsion offers cod-liver oil to digestion. Where the plain oil upsets the stomach and deranges digestion, Scott's Emulsion will have a favourable effect upon it. In fact, this preparation stimulates the appetite, and by its ease of absorption it is quickly taken into the blood, where it is used to improve the condition of the whole system. Scott's Emulsion is a standard remedial agent endorsed by all physicians.
