THE WELLINGTON EDUCATION BOARD.

[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. The Wellington Education Board met this morning to inquire into statements made by Inspector Lee before the leachers Salaiies Commission. As, however, the evidence given before the Commission was not yet available, the inquiry was postponed till next meeting of the Board. In the afternoon it was decided that as two inspectors were sufficient for the work of the Board, Mr. Lee chief inspector, should retire at the end' the year. Mr. Lee has been 28 years in the service of the Board.
