' [BT TELEGRAPH.TRESS ASSOCIATION.] ._ ■■ ■ • Wellington, Tuesday. Several cases of breach of award were before the Arbitration. Court this .morning. Ii one of them, R. D. Benge, butcher, was final £1 lor employing a non-unionist. hi the case against Jessie Chittenden, charged with having employed an assistant . over 19 years of age at a, wage less than that prescribed in the award of the Arbitration Court, the judgment of the Court was that defendant should pay the extra 7s 6d, ■which was demanded by the union, with Court costs and witnesses' expenses. In the case of Pollock and Gilkes, employing boys, the Court alst held that there had .been a breach. There was also a breach of the award by Sparks and Philp, and in ; both oases the Court inflicted a penalty ot 10s, with Court costs and expenses of witnesses. itsW n ; Haines, whose case was heard this morning, whs in a somewhat different position, and was ordered to pay a fine of 10s, and Court costs, not witnesses' expenses. *"■■'■■ . Di. Porter attended the sufferer, whc will .lot be able to resume work for some time. '-.
