Benge, butcher, was final £1 lor employing a non-unionist. hi the case against Jessie Chittenden, charged with having employed an assistant . over 19 years of age at a, wage less than that prescribed in the award of the Arbitration Court, the judgment of the Court was that defendant should pay the extra 7s 6d, ■which was demanded by the union, with Court costs and witnesses' expenses. In the case of Pollock and Gilkes, employing boys, the Court alst held that there had .been a breach.
