CRUSHED TO DEATH.
Otra Whananaki correspondent writes:—An accident, resulting in the crushing to death between two logs, occurred to a man named. , , Alex. McKenzie, who was working for Messrs. C. and J. Gaibraith in their bush known as Canoe Gully. , Death was instantaneous. His remains were removed by his |$; mates to his father's residence, Otonga. The deceased was a single man and brother to Mrs. Christ.' Galbraith. -An inquest was , held before Mr. J. M. Killen at Mr. McInnis', Maunu, and the verdict returned was giyp accidental death. - *:■•■ ' _
