London'. June 20. At a meeting of a committee of peers and members of .ho House of Commons desirous of securing heraldic recognition >f Wales, Si'' Win. Harcourt assured the members that Sir Francis Knoliys, private secretary to the King, had convinced him that though no alteration of the lloyal arms would be permitted, yet something would possibly be done to meet the wishes of Wales in connection with the arms of the Prince of Wales when that title was revived. 'She committee resolved to petition the King that recognition of "Wales 'twould he made in the arms of the Prince of ale?.
The Times nays it is (.'-car that the sympathies of the King are with the desire of the Principality, and that the advancement of the Duke of "York to the dignity of Prince of Wales is not ely to be lone, delayed.
