[from OPE OWN COKRESPOKDKNTS.] CAMBRIDGE. TENDF.RS for the erection of a building for the Waikato Farmers' Club were opened on Monday. There was a difference of £75 between the highest and lowest tender. No tender has vet been accepted. The road-making machine recently purchased by the Piako County Council will be working "on the outskirts of Cambridge today. Most of the members of the Borough Council and Cambridge Road Board have signified their intention of inspecting the machine at work. It is probable a machine will either be hired ur purchased for the Cambridge district.
