AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB'S WINTER MEETING.
The A.T.C. will inaugurate their winter mooting at Potter's Paddock on Saturday next. Tlio acceptances received (or tho various events are most satisfactory, and a capital afternoon's sport should result. _ The programme to ho gone through consists of eight events, as follows:—Maiden Trot (one mile and a-half), Maiden Pony Handicap (five furlongs), Stewards' Trot (one mile and a-half), Autumn Handicap (six furlongs and a-half), Northern Harness Trot (two miles). Handicap Uurdles (one mile and a-quarter), Electric Trot (one mile), Flying Stakes (five furlongs). The first race is timed to start punctually at half-past twelve.

[BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CniusTCHoiicn, Wednesday. At a meeting of tho New Zealand Trotting Association to-night the action of tho Alexandra Jockey Club in disqualifying the horse Winehin for life and the owner (McLelland) for five years was confirmed. An application from G. Wallace, supported by the Tahuna Park Club, to have his disqualification removed was not entertained. On the application of the T.annuo Club a fresh license was granted to Pringle, whose term of disqualification had expired. It was decided to ask the Vincent Jockey Club for an explanation way they had paid out on Ruby in the race won by Erin when an appeal against the latter was dismissed.
