The new Catholic Cathedral at Westminster, on which £140,000 has been expended, has been in building for upwards of live years and a-half, and is now rapidly approaching completion. It will be finished in time for the opening ceremony in June, lhe nave is loftier and'larger than any other ill the United Kingdom. There are no fewer than 12 chapels' ready for their altars and decorations, which are to be of mosaic in marble. The columns in the nave, transepts, and crypt are likewise of rare marble, and are very beautiful..
