■« THE CITY-KARANGAHAKE FOOTBALL MATCH. The football season will be opened on Saturday afternoon at Potter's Paddock with a match between the City District Club's first fifteen and a team from the Karangahake Club. As the local players won the- championship last year, and the team will be quito as strong as was tho ca.se then, the public may look forward to a good match, as the Karanjfahake fifteen includes several prominent players. The kick-off will be at three o'clock sharp.
