POST OFFICE ACCOMMODATION. The much-talked of extension of the Waihi Post Office has not yet taken practical shape, and the postmaster and staff are working under serious disabilities for lack of proper accommodatnu to cope with the volume of business daily transacted in the several departments. The one main room serves for receiving and sorting incoming mails and the despatch of outgoing mails, the telegraphists' table being: at one end of the room, and in close proximity to mail-sorting operations. The one public counter served from the room aforesaid is used for receiving telegrams, delivery of letters, post office orders, stamps, post" office savings bank, and other Government business. There is no privacy afforded depositors in the post office savings bank, in the shape of a partition, and the grime annoying public gaze meets the sender of telegrams, who is at present obliged to hand in messages over the open counter. The present Waihi Post Office is only suited for a township of the size of Otahuhu. SULPHOLINE SKIN LOTION. Tiio only effective remedy for SKIN TROUBLES. Sulpholine quickly drives away Eruptions.
