SURF-BOAT CAPSIZES.
A GALLANT RESCUE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Westport, Wednesday. A sensational incident occurred at Granity to-day, when the surf-boa*-, capsized sized in the breakers. The occupants, Miimm, August, and Dickson, were cast into the water and in great danger of drowning, when a young man named Hardie rode into the breakers, and, after a great struggle with the waves, being washed oil his horse several times, succeeded in reaching August and Mumm, who—one holding on to Hnrdie'sleg and the other to the home's tail—were then dragged ashore. Dickson was also rescued. All the men were in a very exhausted state.
