BAKERS AND PASTRYCOOKS DISPUTE.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DuN'Enix, Wednesday. An industrial dispute between the Bakers and Pastrycooks' Union and the master bakers of Southland, was before the Conciliation Board to-day. What is sought by the union is that the condition of trade accepted by the employers in Dunedin, and embodied in an industrial agreement, should be made to apply through Southland. None of the employers attended, nor were, they represented. It was stated that some were quite willing to sign the agreement. The recommendation of the Board will bo made in a day or two.
