The New York Herald's Pekin correspondent states that Ministers have demanded the execution of four more provincial officials and the exile and degradation of 30 others. CHRISTIAN CONVERTS ' THREATENED. London, April 23. In Pekin Christian converts are daily threatened. AN 17-FOREIGN OFFICIALS. London, April 23. The appointment of many antiforeign provincial officials simultaneously with M. Yoyron's announcement of the withdrawal during May of 10,000 French troops from China is much commented upon. A KOREAN LOAN. London, April 24. A French syndicate, in conjunction with the Eusso-Chinese Bank, furnish the loan proposed for the Korean, railway on the security of the Korean mines. Japan is* extremely jealous over the transaction and. alleges that Russia is ignoring the terms of the 1896 convention.
