A MARQUIS MARRIES AN ACTRESS.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.— • London, April 16. The Marquis of Headfort has married Miss Boote, the actress. A despatch from London of February 23, in a New York paper, is as follows:—The 23-year-old Marquis of Headfort, lieutenant in the Irish Guards, is about to marryfoa Gaiety girl, Daisy Boote, whose song, " Maisie Was a Daisy," was one of the chief successes in "The Messenger Boy" a year ago. Headfort had at one time made all arrangements to marry another Gaiety girl, but his valet informed his mother, and she intervened successfully. But he vows that nothing shall prevent him this time. The ceremony is to take place in the registry office instead of in church, to avoid publicity. Headfort's estate in Galway adjoins that of Lord Clancarty, who married Belle Bilton. Daisy Boote is a very charming brunette, of about Headfort's age. ' "
