FIRE INSURANCE RATES.
[BY TELEGHAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. At a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce to-day the intention of the insurance companies to raise the rate of premiums was discussed, and it was decided to forward a protest, so far as Wellington was concerned, against the proposal.
