AUCKLAND CYCLE ROADS LEAGUE. Tho following members of tho Council of the Auckland Cycle Roads League were present at tho last meeting: Messrs. P. A.Vailo (chairman), R. Noton, H. O. Choyce, W. G. On Saturday last the Whitfield cricketers journeyed to Wairoa, and met the Clevedon Club, to whom they administered a defoafc 1 by un innings and 20 runs. Tho scores were:: —Whitford, 67 and Clovodon, 26 and 21, grand total 47. For the winners, R. R. Martin, B. Muir, and L. Mollcr obtained double figures, while L. Wall is and It. Mcars did likewise for the losers. After cricket, tennis was indulged in on the Wairoa Tennis Club's ground, and some interesting games played.
