PRESENTATION TO REV. W. A. GILLIES.

[by TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] TiiiARU, Monday. The Rev. W. Gillies, who resigned the pastorate of Trinity Church to take up the work of collecting for the Presbyterian century fund, was to-day presented by the Mayor, on behalf of the citizens, with an illuminated address, a piece of plate, and a travelling bag. The address was eulogistic of his services as a citizen. The congregation, at a farewell social last week, presented him with a cheque for £140.
