tr " • ' ' — ** 7 — THE particulars of a serious misfortune which overtook Mr, W. Filmcr, a printer, residing at Abbott-street, West Maitland, (N.S.W.), have been gathered by our reporter. 'Mr. Filmer's long and honourable connection with the Maitland Mercury has caused - aim to be well known and respected throughOut Maitland, where great sympathy lias been expressed for him. It appears that some time ago ho foil - away to a mere skeleton, , the result of diarrhoea, which became chronic. Ho was very often seized with fainting fits, Que to weakness, which the diarrhoea caused, m food gave him.little strength, and despite • 'the beat of treatment he did not recover.
