In ' support of the claim for aid to this genome, it was shown that the conditions under which tho institution was begun had been faithfully carried out by giving Maori ' boys Christian education, industrial training, ■■'"'•.■' 'and instruction in tho English language. The report and balance-sheet were received and adopted, and tho proposal to erect new buildings approved.
