. *jEW BUDDINGS AT THREE KINGS k , COLLEGE. ' ' [BT TELEGRAPH. — ASSOCIATION.] Wellington-, Sunday. 'At the Wesleyan Conference yesterday arrangements were considered for deputations to visit the different districts of the colony, -and advocate the ■ cause of the "foreign missions. The amount contributed to this fund was £1200. The Rev. Lewis referred to the . . action of Bishop Neville in licensing the , " Rev. Dr. Shirley Baker to represent the Anglican Church as missionary in Tonga, and moved a resolution approving of deputations being sent to the different districts, •which was carried unanimously. The Rev. J. H. Simmonds presented the report of Three Kings Wesley College, Auckland, with a proposal for tho erection of ' new college buildings on a complete scale. In ' support of the claim for aid to this genome, it was shown that the conditions under which tho institution was begun had been faithfully carried out by giving Maori ' boys Christian education, industrial training, ■■'"'•.■' 'and instruction in tho English language. The report and balance-sheet were received and adopted, and tho proposal to erect new buildings approved.
