DEATH OF THE REV. J. GOW.
r«Y TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT,] lauranga, Monday. Much regret is expressed at the death of the Rev. John Gow, of Opotiki, the Presbyterian ministei there, at the age of 86. Mr. Gow had seen the reigns of four Sovereigns of the British Empire, and participated in the rejoicings 011 the accession of our last, three Sovereigns. He had been an old resident of Opotiki. and was intimately associated with all social and progressive movements at Opotiki, for quite ? number of years.
