WOOL SALES

The third wool sale of the season, under the auspices of the Auckland Woolbrokers Association will be held at the Wool Exchange, Albert-street, to-day, commencing sharp at nine a.m. The sale being the last of the series, the combined catalogues of the three firms interested will not total more than about 1700 bales. As usual at the close of the season there will be a greater proportion of lambswool than at the preceding sales, and, as far as can be ascertained, the clips all round will be about the same as far as quality is concerned, while prices also seem likely to rule about the same. The sale will be opened by Messrs. A. Buckland and Sons, Messrs. G. W. Binney and Go. following, and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company concluding.
