«~ . [BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] Napier, Wednesday. The business before the General Synod today was almost purely formal or routine. It consisted of the setting up of committees and referring several matters affecting church properties "to the Trust Committee. On the motion of Dean Hovell, a committee was set up' to inquire what was being done in the different provinces in connection with the religious education of the young.
