MESSAGES SYMPATHY.
PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHURCH. The Rev. W. S. Potter, president of the Primitive Methodist Churches of New Zealand, has forwarded to the Hon. J. G. Ward, Acting-Premier, the following:—"Will you kindly ask the Governor to assure the Royal Family of the sincere sorrow of the Primitive Methodist Church of New Zealand at the loss sustained by the death of our illustrious monarch, and of their fidelity to our new King?" AUCKLAND DISTRICT FORESTERS. Mr. S. H. Davenport. D.C.R., of the Auckland district, Ancient Order of Foresters, has received the following message in reply to a telegram of sympathy forwarded last week to His Excellency the Governor, on behalf of the Auckland" district:"The Governor desires to thank the delegates of the 'Auckland District of the Ancient Order of Foresters for their expressions of sympathy and sorrow; His Excellency will convey the same to the members of the Royal Family.-(Signed) Htu, Trevor," HEBREW CONGREGATION. Mr. Alfred Nathan' received the following telegram yesterday afternoon :—" The Governor desires to thank the Auckland Hebrew congregation for their expressions of heartfelt sympathy With the Royal Family. His Excellency has included this'in his cable to the Secretary of State for communication to the Royal Family.Captain- AlexanDEU." :' ANGLICAN GENERAL SYNOD. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Napier, Tuesday. The General Synod to-night forwarded to the Governor a resolution expressing profound regret at the loss of our beloved and revered Queen, . and sympathy with the Royal Family, praying that King Edward may have strength to continue the wise and beneficent rule of the late Queen.
