Sir A. Milner cables that Trooper Cameron, of Maryborough, Wairarapa, died at Lindley of enteric fever on the 2nd insfc. As the name does not appear on the official lists of the New Zealand contingents the authorities have issued, deceased must have joined one of the corps formed in South Africa.

At the request of the Reception Committee in Dunedin the Acting-Premier has cabled to the Imperial transports officer, asking that the Orient, with the returned troopers, should be timed to arrive at Port Chalmers at four a.m. next Tuesday.
