OLD AGE PENSIONS.
Mb. Thob,. Hutchison, S.M., held a sitting of the Old Ape Ponsions Court at Ondhunga yesterday. Mr. Tapp, Deputy-Registrar for the Manukau County, and Mr. King, his tolleagiie for Eden, were in attendance. Mr. William Swanson, jun., native interpreter, was also present, representing some native claimants. Applications for renewals and new petitions were gone into, and the Court awarded certificates as under: Louisa Lynda and William Lynds, £17 oach; James Goodall arid Sarah Simmonds, £14 each;Rora Horomonoa, To Wainhakarena, and Hpromona Henri were awarded £18 each, the first two being subject to a certificate from Mr. Maxwell, the Government. Land purchase Commissioner. , The Court adjourned until the 15th of next month.
