THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.
The new mail steamer Sierra is announced to leave Sydney for Auckland to-morrow, and is expected to reach Auckland early on Monday morning next. She leaves for Samoa, Honolulu, and San Francisco, at noon the same day.
The Alameda is expected to arrive at Auckland from San . Francisco, Honolulu, and Samoa on Tuesday next, and proceeds on to Sydney a few hours after arrival. The Mapourika loaves Wellington for New Plymouth and Onehunga on Saturday, with the Southern portion of the mails for the Sierra,- and is expected to reach Onehunga on Sunday night. She leaves for New Plymouth again on Monday afternoon, and returns to Onehunga on. Wednesday. The Rotoiti, which arrives at Onehunga from Wellington and New Plymouth, on Saturday, will leave again immediately upon the arrival of the Alameda from San Francisco, if the latter steamer reaches Auckland on Tuesday morning, but will leave at four p.m. on Tuesday if the Alamedo does not put in an appearance before that hour.
