It locks as though the Avondale Jockey Club will have to • face a lawsuit as a result of the contemplated improvements at their course. During yesterday Mr. Moss Davis, who has certain rights to the buildings at present on the ground, obtained an injunction against the club removing the same, and during the day the document was served upon Mr. M. Foley (chairman of the . club). It is understood that the authorities of the club are in no way alarmed at Mr. Davis' action, and the work will not be seriously interfered with as a result of the injunction. Mr. A.
